Evening in Memory of George Ostrovsky
Veteran animator and documentary filmmaker Andrey Khrzhanovsky presents a poetic and non-linear biography of the poet Joseph Brodsky who was an underground cultural icon for many of his generation. A Room and a Half is a nostalgic work; a work about nostalgia, but without a hint of sentimentality. The screening will be preceded by a reading of some of Brodsky's poetry in Russian and in Hebrew and the screening of Vivian Ostrovsky's short Nikita Kino
